The beginning of Labor Bodies exploring a range of different mediums, topics and began using color as a center point in the work.

Yell Yo is one of the first color specific bodies of works explored. Yellow representing smog or the inability to breathe. The color is meant to capture the overwhelming feeling of being smothered and uncomfortable as if it were a hot day with no breeze.

Black and Blue is a body of work that examines chromatic darks as a way to represent bruising on dark skin.

F U Shine is a play on the word Fuschine, a color described as pink or purple. This color is used in an attempt to reclaim space for women of color who have been silenced or erased from history.
